What's a Small Group? What's the Goal of a Small Group?

The goal of a small group is to become a Christian community, where individuals experience deeper, quality relationships, and a safe place for discovering, testing and affirming their spiritual gifts.

Are Small Groups all the Same?

There are different types of small groups. You may be familiar with serving groups, such as the choirs, ushers, and quilters at Our Redeemer. But there are also nurture groups, such as Bible studies and Sunday School, and also care and recovery groups, such as Healing Ministry, single parents and Al Anon.

You may start or continue with any type of small group you like.

Who leads these groups?

People who are members and committed to the vision of their church lead small Groups. They are called, knowing that this role would be a great use of their gifts and talents, to significantly impact and serve others. They are committed to ongoing training, constantly growing in their relationship and walk with Jesus Christ.
