The Women of the ELCA of Our Redeemer have been a sponsor for Pastor

Joyce Graue in New Guinea for the past six years. $1250.00 of the fall

rummage sale profit is designated for this cause.

 

Pastor Joyce and her husband Ian have now completed their seven year

contract for mission work in New Guinea and have received a new

assignment in the Central African Republic in Africa. They will spend

the coming year learning the French and Sango languages and studying the

culture of the area. Their future assignment in CAR will place Pastor

Joyce as advisor of the Women's Organizations in the area and Ian will

serve as Village Education Coordinator in charge of a number of

elementary schools that the church has established there.

 

Their children, Andrew who has graduated from the University,

Catherine who is a student at the University, and Thomas who is a high

school senior, will remain in Adelaide, Australia, where they have

extended family.
